Happy, Healthy, Hardy Dogs Bred for Form and Function.  We are Star Mountain take this statement very seriously.   All of our podengos are health tested BEFORE breeding.   We go beyond the suggested testing and include a DNA test.  This is very important.  It weeds out any under lying problems that may not show until later in life.  It also identifies carries of genetic issues.  Being a carrier is not the end of the world, as long as you do not bred to another carrier.
