The quote above is from the AKC site and describes the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno. I agree they would make great town dogs and they are robustly healthy. Further down on their site however, they list the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno has a medium energy level dog. I disagree with that. I would say the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno is an above average in energy level. They do like to cuddle, but they love to run.
