The biggest dog show of the year is coming up for the Podengo Pequenos and all dog fanciers.  The Morris and Essex is a very special dog show.   M&E is only held once every five years and team Podengo is really excited about attending.

Since, Podengo Pequenos got accepted into the AKC in 2012 and the last Morris and Essex show was in October of 2010 – I’m assuming this is the first time Podengos have ever been represented at Morris and Essex.

Having the show once every five years isn’t the only unique thing about the Morris and Essex dog show.  There will be fancy hats, lots of glamour and almost 5,000 dogs.   The show also provides a box lunch to each exhibitor.

Bruce and I will be attending the show on behalf of Star Mountain Kennel and showing two of our podengo pequeno champions.  I bought a new hat and dress and Bruce will be sporting a bow tie.
