It all started at Monographica!!! I’ll be honest I took David to Portugal to show him at the “big” show, Monographica, hoping he would do ok and I won’t trip and fall. He did Fabulous! He got the piece of the championship that is the hardest to get. Only offered a few times a year. That made us decide to go back to Portugal for the July shows in Lisbon. David did great there as well and ending out not only getting two excellents but also winning the breed one day. This was an awesome experience for me. We are very thankful that our friend and fellow Podengo Pequeno breeder, Miguel Sabino, offered to keep David and show him at the Sintra shows for us.

This weekend was the Sintra shows and David and Miguel did great. Saturday was the big day for David and he won his class and then the Breed. He became a Portuguese Champion yesterday.

Today he showed again and won Best Opposite Sex.

We now have TWO Portuguese Champions. Our very own Star Mountain Princess Lisbon and now Tahtitaivaan David!! To the best of my knowledge no other Podengo Breeder here in the States has accomplished this.
